Enjoying family and being tourists

23 Aug

It has been an active month of August here in Nashville. Becky’s parents arrived to spend the month and we have enjoyed finding area attractions, visiting parks and churches. We have walked quite a few miles, seen a lot of history and enjoyed a lot of laughs together.
We have spent many evenings on the back deck enjoying both the quietness of a warm evening and the occasional thunder and lightning display.
They will be heading back to Florida on Monday August 24. They have put on a lot of miles since they left Florida and their home in early June and are anxious to return. It will be quiet here without them and we will miss them, but they are much closer now which will make it easier to visit.

Here is the list of some of the items we have done with links to both the attraction sites and the pictures that we have taken.
